Alfama

Alfama is one of Lisbon's historic quarters. The narrow sreets and people chatting at the windows where clothes gently sway in the breeze as they dry in the sun give it a unique charm. This is the ideal place to come in the evening to hear fado, Portugal's traditional and most popular music.
